You should try to highlight the factors that are causing you to gain weight, such as a lack of physical activity or a diet that is high in fat, salt, sugar, and calories. Preventing it could be as simple as cutting down portion sizes, or switching full fat foods for lower fat alternatives. You can change your eating habits without a dramatic change to your overall diet by becoming more active. You should try to do at least half an hour of exercise five times a week like swimming, jogging and gym membership.

If you have a healthy diet and are physically active, but are, still putting on weight after liposuction you should see your GP. It is possible that your weight gain is caused by a hormonal deficiency, or that it is caused by some medication that you are taking. Your GP will be able to advise you on what you can do to limit the amount of weight that you put on.
